The Wood & Company Story

Wood and Company has been a life long dream turned reality of owner/operator Clayton Wood. Clayton is a local who was raised in the Comox Valley, a graduate of the North Island College Carpentry program and Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter. Clayton completed his apprenticeship in the Comox Valley working for local builders growing his skills in new construction, renovations, and finishing carpentry. Clayton has always had a passion for making spaces beautiful, his interest grew in the area of cabinetry and renovations as he knew this was where he could use his skills to give customers the home and living spaces of their dreams.

Clayton has been developing Wood and Company for the past 5 years, with the vision that all steps from initial design, cabinet construction, and installation would be completed by Wood and Company. In 2022 building of a cabinetry workshop and office space was completed and brand new cabinetry manufacturing equipment was installed making the dream a reality.
